This is my first year at a school that needs a big physical education remodel. Much of the current equipment is outdated, worn, and broken. PE is supposed to be a place where students want to move. Equipment is a way to spark an interest in that movement. Our school is in need of updated, new, and engaging materials to spark a love for physical activity. My goal as a physical education teacher is to provide movement opportunities that influence students to move outside of my gym. The goals and nets can be used for a variety of activities such as hockey, soccer, volleyball, badminton, tennis, and pickleball. The cones and domes are essential items used for organization in almost every activity taught. My goal in my first year is to rebuild a quality physical education program with quality equipment.
