Our K-8 charter school has never had a library; by donating to this project, you will be helping us create a place where students can finally explore their love of reading. I am an English teacher in a small rural school where over 70% of students are economically disadvantaged. Several donors have given us used books to start a library; unfortunately we have no shelves. Four dedicated students have already put in over 30 volunteer hours organizing the books, but without more shelves, we will not be able to use this valuable resource.
