Our school goal is to have students read on grade level or beyond by the end of current school year. One advantage is that my kindergarten bilingual students are already enthusiastic about reading and learning in both Spanish and English. They comprehend what they read when they take their time to digest the information but they are not fluent readers yet. I want to provide them with the opportunity to become fluent readers by providing them with hands-on/minds-on experiences using manipulatives, books, and technology in order to provide and facilitate their inquisitive minds.

About my class
