Have you ever forgotten your headphones when you get to the gym? It's hard to get into a solid rhythm without upbeat music energizing you! The same is true for young students. Children enjoy listening to music while they exercise too! It can be used to help calm, energize, or challenge their young minds. My hope is that through bringing in the iPod and bluetooth speaker, I can bring a whole new energy into an already energetic room! Furthermore, this will also be used as a form of classroom management to ease transition between instruction and activity. The ability to start and stop music throughout activities to provide meaningful feedback to students during instruction will be an invaluable resource.
