The literacy materials I am requesting for my students will help them to become lifelong readers and writers. By using the literacy activities, this will help students in learning letters/sounds and combination of sounds by making and manipulating letters, which will then help them in noticing patterns within different words to help them in learning new words. These activities will help my diverse group of learners by providing them a variety of activities to meet their individual needs and where they are as readers and spellers. While the Time for Kids magazines will help students to further their learning by reading non-fiction literature to help them in learning about real world subjects and events-helping them to be lifelong learners.
