Your donation will put engaging books directly into the hands of my middle school students. Students, both past and current, come to me frequently for book recommendations and ideas. Each book on the list was recommended by students as a book they would want to read. All students should know what it feels like to read a book they simply can't put down. With these books to fill my student library, each and every student who comes in my room will have the opportunity to find a book they love and rediscover their love for reading. I want students to come to realize that reading is a lifelong habit that will help them in all aspects of their lives. I hope that by keeping my classroom library full of exciting and new books, students will not get bored with the same books, but will have the opportunity to read and discover new books and new authors. This is the first step toward creating lifelong readers.
