The laptops will be used in my room as a center. May students come to me with a wide range of abilities . As a result, students have many different needs. The students would benefit from the computers because they will contain programs that provide specific targeted instruction. Students will be able to work in small groups throughout the day on programs that are geared toward their academic needs. They will be ale to work at their own level and their own pace. My students will be more engaged and focused, most of all they may not realize they're learning! While the programs students are working on support the curriculum they information is presented as a game. They will be able to explore websites that support what we are learning across subject areas. The laptops will help student stay connected to the world in an academic way.
