Our art classroom currently has 2 kilns, but no other pottery supplies. Your donation will enable us to get there rest of the supplies we need to have a successful after-school pottery club: 2 tabletop pottery wheels, 6 beginners pottery tool sets that will be shared, 2 packs of clay, and 1 set of pot lifts. Funding for public education is being drastically cut, and arts programs are often the first affected. Providing my students with this opportunity to have experience with ceramics may be the only chance they have to be exposed to this wonderful art form until higher education levels. Our club will meet once a week after school for an hour beginning in August of 2018 and continuing until May of 2018. 10 students will be allowed to participate in the club.
