"We are makers! Our MakerSpace classroom provides engaging hands-on STEM based learning that focuses on building 21st century skills including: problem solving, teamwork, initiative, self-direction, and career development." Our classroom is student-centered, activities are inquiry-based, and my role is that of facilitator, rather than final authority. Students engage cooperatively to plan, design and test prototypes, analyze results, redesign, present and justify conclusions. Please help us sustain our MakerSpace classroom! Additional funding will provide materials for further development of inquiry-based activities and continued efforts to make the classroom a student-centered making environment.
