I teach 5th grade at a Title I school in unincorporated Mentone, California. Many of my students benefit from free breakfast and lunch at school. My students have the incredible ability to bounce back and persevere through difficulty. They appreciate everything I do for them and our greatest accomplishment thus far, has been learning to respect and help one another. Many of my students struggle academically, but they are working towards changing their mindset and believing in themselves. They are beginning to see that with practice they can grow and develop into quality students.

About my class
