I have requested Chromebooks, for the specific purpose of increasing student involvement in their own education. If students are in control of what is happening in the classroom, there is more buy-in. By having students have hands on practice of math, it allows them to take ownership in their learning. I have found that by using games, students don't feel like they are practicing math, which they are still doing!
