In first grade we are all about reading. This is the year where students really learn to read! It is such and exciting time in their lives for them and myself! I want to provide them with these listening centers of C.D. players and books on audio so they can hear what good reading fluency sounds like. They hear these stories read to them and they can work to sound just like this when they are reading. I want them to have success reading. By listening to reading they can set goals for themselves and know exactly what good reading should sound like.
