Help our English Language Learners tell their stories in a documentary! I teach English as a New Language (ENL) at a very large, public high school in Indiana. My students have intermediate proficiency in English and are in grades 10-12. My students are all exceptional learners in that they need to not only master the English language, but they also need to be proficient enough in it to be able to pass all their content area classes (i.e. science, social studies, etc.). They are highly motivated students who have come to the United States in order to receive a strong education and hopefully continue on to college.
