The presentation cart will allow me to put in place the new projector and Elmo that the school has purchased for the classroom. Students love to use the projector and they are engaged 100% when the projector is on. At the moment, I am using a very small single desk that is uneven and it only holds the projector. the desk is not big enough to hold my laptop or anything else. The desk is uneven which causes the screen to shake a lot during presentations. The cart will allow me to set up the projector, the Elmo, and my laptop all in one place. This will allow me to make fun and engaging lessons through PowerPoint and with the use of the internet. It will also help the students follow along with me as I teach using the Elmo camera that we have not been able to use. The Elmo will help visual learners (80% of my students) stay engaged in the lesson while being able to see the directions and examples of the lesson on the white screen. It will also allow the students to use their favorite videos on Go Noodle for mental breaks and physical exercise throughout the day.
