Young learners with Autism may have various challenges in school and at home. Early intervention plays a critical role in supporting these students with special needs. With appropriate support, many students are able to make big progresses in the areas they have deficits. In our daily teaching, "play (especially dramatic play)" is very important by which young learners learn language skills, social and emotional skills, cognitive skills, and self-help skills through out the play. Learners tends to respond faster and better through play. My students with Autism need various maters in school to succeed. For instance, we need furniture, play sand, play-doh, other tactile materials, books, toys, CD/DVD players and CDs, DVDs, digital books/songs, read-along books in our classroom. Nothing is too small. Any help is appreciated! Thank you in advance for supporting my students.
