This age appropriate rectangular table and chair set from Lakeshore Learning will allow my students to feel valued and help communicate that their time in school is both meaningful and purposeful by providing them a fresh and welcoming environment. A new rectangular table and chair set will allow me a space to bring together students in a small group, in partners, or 1-on-1 in a way that allows for their instruction to be specifically targeted for their unique needs and goals. These materials will allow me to create a space for English Language Learners to have additional support and discussion around vocabulary and concept develop across content. I have also recently completed the Orton Gillingham training and plan to apply the program's methods to small group work with students needing additional support in reading, writing, and spelling.
