When walking into our room you will see a group of 20 energetic and eager learners. My second grade students are a group of diverse individuals, culturally and academically. Our school is a Title I school located in Santa Monica, California. Coming from a variety of economic backgrounds, when in our classroom we are all one team. Each of them brings something special to our classroom to make it complete. While the levels of need vary immensely in different aspects of my students' lives, they come to school ready to learn and grow. It is my goal to be sure that each of them understands how important their education is to their future, as they are the future.

About my class
