All of our K-6 students see me for Exploration Class, once a week, for learning experiences, based on things they wonder about. The activities we do range from science experiments, to cooking, to gardening. Many of our students have expressed an interest in robotics and building, but we lack materials to support these activities at the primary (K-3) level. That's where the The Dot and Dash robot packs and compatible tablets come in. They are designed to be accessible for primary aged students, so that I can finally give these students the experience with robotics and programming they are asking for. The marble run will give our primary students the opportunity to become civil engineers, and develop fine motor and problem solving skills to boot! It can be used for students to create their own runs, or to solve more specific engineering challenges.
