I teach third grade students that have a lot of energy and would benefit from having differentiated seating like using wobble chairs. Wobble chairs have the core training of an exercise ball applied to a kid's stool which is less distracting to all in the classroom. Studies have shown that flexible seating boosts students' scores because they are able to move and not be distracted by having the constant urge to move around in their seat. Having flexible seating as an option in my classroom will become a daily part of our routine quickly. It will benefit student learning and attention!
