At our school of Expeditionary Learning, we come together to explore, question and create in order to do better work and be better people than we ever thought possible. In a nutshell, Expeditionary Learning provides students with an interdisciplinary education connected to character and community. We think our third-grade students are extraordinary minds exploring these real-world connections. With 87% minority students, 70% of the students qualifying for free or reduced-price lunch, new immigrants from Mexico, Syrian refugees, students in transitional housing, and a multitude of languages spoken, our students bring insight and diverse background experiences.
