I am fortunate to teach in a diverse student body, full of students excited about learning and creating. My students are enthusiastic, empathetic, and energetic. I continually find myself being pushed to be a better educator due to the curious and capable minds of the students I work with. Some of my students have experienced trauma, homelessness, food insecurity, or other hardships. While they don't let this get in the way of their learning, they need a classroom environment that's intentionally designed for student success, regardless of the materials and funds available.

About my class
