Thank you for considering our class for your support. As a former corporate executive and entrepreneur, I know how important it is to ensure dollars are spent wisely. When I transitioned to teaching, I studied at an affluent urban high school in a city notorious for its lack of diversity. The students at that high school have vast resources, including significant social capital. I came to New York City to help close the opportunity gap, and my current students need some basic equipment and experiences in order to develop the mindset and skills of 21st Century learners.
