It has been proven that children learn best when moving, but the nature of the classroom leads teachers to have to do SOME work at desks. Stability balls increase blood flow, allow for children to move, and in turn, increase scores and happiness. In my room, I want all kids to learn, move, and play in their least restricted environment and to have that, many children need the opportunity to move at their seat. Stability balls provide a chance for all children to move in a non-interrupting way. My children are different sizes and the balls need to be too.
