I want my students to feel energized and "Wowed" upon their "return" to the classroom. I am planning an "open classroom" concept that allows student choice outside of traditional desks/tables when it comes to classroom seating. Also, in the interest of being health-conscious, our classroom needs furniture that is soft and comfy but with hard surfaces that can be easily disinfected for safety. I want to create an atmosphere for the social butterfly "group work" students, and I also want to have safe learning spaces for my introverted kids who are happy learning individually or in pairs. Think "coffee shop"/ "college campus study area" vibes. :-)
