Allowing me to use a tablet in my classroom will allow me to engage my students as I walk around the classroom. I won't be tied to the board. It will also allow me to record my lessons as I teach them. This is especially important to those students who are not yet coming to school. They will have the same experience as if they were sitting at a table or desk. The I pad will give me many apps to choose from that will aid my presentations. Math can be difficult anyway, but with the color ability, and the graphs, problems will jump off the page and into the minds of my students. Hopefully, students will remain engaged longer in the problem solving when they see things presented in a different light with a different approach.
