This easel will help me to model, demonstrate, and will allow for a shared learning environment where the students can participate in shared writing. Its important to have an easel that has a dry erase board, can hold chart paper, and has a magnetic surface for displaying manipulatives and other teaching tools. This easel also has valuable storage space at the bottom. My classroom does not have a lot of storage space, so I have to be creative in the ways that I store things in my classroom. I can utilize this easel to also display poems and songs in pocket charts. We also need a colorful, cozy rug to gather on for instruction time.
