Hi everyone! Thanks for checking out my page. I teach special education for grades K-2. My students come to me from a variety of backgrounds and vary in ability levels. It is my job to make sure that while these boys (yes, all boys for the past 3 years) are at school, they feel loved, safe and supported both academically and emotionally. Since my students are typically with me for 3 straight years, I get to see first hand how they are progressing academically, socially, and emotionally. In fact this past year each of my students found a passion for reading. They love listening to others read to them, reading to others and helping others with their reading. Im hoping to have projects funded for my students that will help them continue in their new found love for reading.
