Having the iPads will allow the students to learn in new ways that they never could imagine. It will enhance there learning by teaching them with the tools of their generation. The iPads will be used daily in our reading centers for several different things. For example, the students will record themselves reading in order to help improve their reading fluency. They will also use the iPad to practice basic typing skills, respond to comprehension questions, and take online testing that will help better prepare them for the future. In addition, they will use various apps on the iPads to practice basic reading and math skills, from sight words to addition facts. Also, having the cases to go along with our iPads will help to ensure that they don't get damaged. We want to be extra careful with our technology because we know it is conducive to our learning! I know this project will make a difference in the student's lives. Using technology in the classroom is vital to our student's success. I want to provide my students with a positive learning environment with several different technology-based tools to help meet their individual needs.
