Canada and the United States are neighbors, yet the students in American schools know so little about Canada and its culture. I teach 5th grade language arts and social studies in Ohio to students that are economically disadvantaged. Our school community is struggling currently with the failure of a levy 3 times, and no extra curriculuar activities or sports as a result.
