Students will be using the iPad and headsets to listen to authentic conversations on various topics at a listening station in my classroom. Listening on the iPad will allow the students the ability to replay sections that are difficult for them to understand. The more students listen to the Japanese used in real life situations, the better the students will become at using Japanese. The headsets have microphones so the students will be able to record presentations and conversations in class. The students will then be able to listen to their recordings to determine what mistakes they have made. The iPad and headsets would help me create a listening/speaking station in my room which will, in turn, assist my students in developing their speaking and listening skills.
