My Detroit-area students are amazing kids--they are intellectually curious and unbelievably creative. We are the most diverse school in our county and have a lot of LGBTQ+ youth that come to our school in search of acceptance. Many of our students have had to overcome great obstacles, but in this innovative educational environment (a fine and performing arts high school), they have become positive and excited about school. What our school lacks is resources and that is why I am here asking for help. If you are able to donate please know that your generosity will be appreciated and go to good use.
