21st Century skills are crucial for today's students. As educators it is our job to prepare students for the world they will live and work in. Technology is a prevalent part of our world today, and will be even more so in the future. Our students need the opportunity to utilize technology, naturally, in their education. Chromebooks pave the way to understanding and practicing 21st century skills. By bringing in a Chrombook into my classroom, students will be able to get the hands-on experience with today's technology they need in order to be successful in the future. Many students do not have a laptop or Chromebook at home, so this is an opportunity for them to utilize today's technology.
