Our students have grown tired of typical stationary desks and chairs -they are uncomfortable and rigid. Our students are active young children, that thrive with movement. Some students really struggle to sit still in a desk all day. They want to choose where and how to sit around the room to learn! My students need wobble chairs, bouncy balls, wiggle spots, and lap trays, so that they can move while working without distracting themselves or their classmates. This furniture will boost contained movement and allow students to better focus! The wobble chairs, bouncy balls, wiggle spots, and lap trays will allow our students to move when normally they would have to sit still. When their bodies are moving, their minds are moving. Our hope is that this new flexible seating furniture will embrace the personal learning needs of each student.
