Welcome to my classroom! The children in my classroom have different choices for "seating" throughout the day. They can select bean bags, pillows, the floor, and exercise balls . I would like to add another option, which would be balance boards to use at a stand up table already in the classroom. This would allow students movement while they are working and learning. Children need to have movement throughout their day and sitting in one stationary spot leads to boredom. Having the opportunity to stand at the table and use the balance boards enables students to change position and move as they need to. My 29 students need the ability to choose flexible seating to enhance their learning experiences. Exciting news Donorschoose.org will match donations given dollar for dollar until September 12.
