"He's in my spot!" "She's touching me!""Owe, you stepped on me!".....These are all different things that I hear as I call my kindergartners to the carpet. Instead of having a fun, relaxing meeting place students become more concerned about their "spots". My students need a fun, inviting place to gather throughout the day. A bright colored, organizational rug is the perfect solution for active 5-year olds. Having a classroom rug will allow students to focus on their learning, not their spots. Not only does the design allow for students to have their own spots, but also provides opportunities for educational, active games. From hopping through the alphabet to having student/letter of the day, the possibilities are endless. Please consider supporting my classroom project and allowing my sweet kinders to have a meeting spot that minimizes distractions and increases their learning.
