Listening centers are changing from books on tape/cd purchased by the teacher to apps on various devices. As of now I do not have a listening center (sad, I know) to create a quality and current listening center my students need iPads! iPads give students access to millions of books through various apps right at their fingertips. iPads will allow them to explore their interest while building their reading comprehension and fluency. To accommodate all levels of readers and learning styles I want my students to experience 21st century literacy on a daily basis. I want these kids to have the opportunity to grab a set of headphones, an iPad and go on an adventure!
