In order for my students to learn about current events at their level they need a resource that is colorful and interesting. Time for Kids is just what is needed. Articles that cover science, social sciences and art are included in this publication. When discussing art in the news, students will create art using what they learn as inspiration and then frame this art. Students will learn that art influences all areas of life and areas of study. Frames will be used to give the art created more importance and to give to parents as gifts throughout the school year. Art, science, and the social sciences will be integrated with the use of Time for Kids and the art that they will make and frame.
