My students come from low income families. They do not have the same opportunities presented to them. My students have the lowest Lexile scores in the school. I want to use the materials I have requested to create a fun, comfortable reading environment. When my students are feeling confidante and excited to read, I have done my job! I believe with these materials I can help my students find a love for reading. When students have a healthy learning environment the sky is the limit! My students are going to soar into a bright future where they can read at the same level as their peers. These materials are the tools they need to succeed now and in the future! Titles like Amelia Bedelia, National Geographic and Who Would Win will grab my student's attention and create a need to read!

About my class
