These calculators will be tools in the classroom and not just a toy to do math. The new concepts that are taught require calculations that most of my students struggle with. By using the calculators students will be able to find ways to solve the problems and not get bogged down with computation. They will still need to know how to do the problem. The calculator is a tool used to accomplish this. Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and use the calculator to better understand the concepts. New concepts can be intimidating for my students. By having a calculator eases the stress and they know it is a help and and a hindrance.
