At a Title 1 school in Baltimore City, my students show up to school eager to participate in spite of outside challenges. I need to provide them with paper and pencils in order to make sure every day is productive. As a teacher who takes pride in promptness and student engagement, I want to remove the basic barriers that I see get in the way of student learning. By providing these basic supplies for all students, I will be in a better position to keep everyone moving forward. Please help us create an environment where every student has access to the basic supplies that they need to be successful. Your contribution will provide composition notebooks and pencils that will stay in our classroom at all times in order to ensure that students have the basic materials that they need every day, regardless of the other challenges of the day. It will also go towards speakers for our room to make sure all students can hear the information that they need for class, especially when our other technology falters.
