It is has been said, if better is possible then good is not enough. In my classes we are working with the resources we have, but I know better is possible for my students to be the best that they can be. The most effective way for me to prepare them for an assessment is to practice the skills required to determine proficiency. In many respects this follows a basic rule in life. My students have the desire to work, they simply need the appropriate tools to assist them perform at their optimum level. That is the reason we need the books and flashcards. Losing the librarian last year meant losing valuable resources. Having access to these resources will enable my kids to practice daily on skills and objectives that determine college readiness and skill mastery. My kids have the desire to work; I just need help with providing adequate resources for them. The ACT practice books and flashcards will allow my students the opportunity to work daily on the skills needed for them to be successful on district benchmark testing and college readiness exams.
