Students will develop cooperation skills as they work together and learn to solve problems and build with Legos during Centers time. Building with Legos will help my students to communicate with one another and use critical-thinking skills to build their creations. Students will be able to use their imaginations to build their own creations, thereby enhancing their creativity. Or should they so choose, they may use the instructions and learn to follow directions, promoting early literacy to build items from the manual. Lastly, building with Legos will improve my students' fine motor skills as they have to use precision when snapping the blocks together.
