Reading should be fun! I want to provide my students with some fun seating options for independent reading time. We have a classroom library full of awesome books and now we need to take independent reading to the next level! Student choice is such a big factor in engagement and motivation, and I want to incorporate more choices into my students’ school day. I would use these seating options during work time in other subjects as well, and as rewards for hardworking students! These seats also could be a start toward flexible seating in my classroom.
