Help my students learn through exploration using thematic learning centers."I am a New York City Department of education elementary school teacher. I have been working with the Department of Education since 2003. My school is located in a hard to staff area. Many of my students come from nearby NYC housing projects. This upcoming school year I will be teaching kindergarten. My class will be made up of a mixed group of students, some of which have been diagnosed with Asbergers Syndrome. My school is a Title I school with families that are low income. Currently 90% of our students receive free lunch.
