All of my students LOVE playing the drums. They play their rhythm sticks on their practice drums for warm up, percussion play along, and use their creativity to create their own beats. Inside the classroom, they can only play a certain volume due to the noise level. With having an outdoor percussion drum station, the kids can express themselves as loud as they want. Students will be able to use these drums for our outdoor assemblies as well. The first and foremost is to give all students a chance to play drums in class without sensory overload. This will enhance our environment not only in the classroom but on the concert stage as well.
