The majority of my students fall far below poverty level and most do not have access to quality reading material, or technology, outside of the classroom. They attend a school that is more than 70% free and reduced lunch, and many students live in temporary housing, or are living with multiple other families. Regardless of the challenges that these young minds have had to face on a day-to-day basis, they always come to school ready and willing to learn. They do their best, and they make the most of what we have available in our classroom.

About my class
