Flexible seating allows students to take their learning into their own hands and to help them feel more comfortable in their learning environment. Slowly, we have been working on students advocating for themselves to choose where they will learn best in the classroom. We have students on the floor, in different parts of the room, and students who prefer to work at their desk. I have seen students make great choices and have shown more engagement in classroom activities. These will help my students to achieve their educational goals, to make their learning more engaging, and fun! For students to enhance their learning and to allow them to feel more comfortable in the classroom environment, I have chosen the wobble chairs and floor cushions. These tools will be practical for our classroom and will be great options for students who need wiggle breaks or to have a more comfortable learning environment. I have seen these products work in other classrooms. The students were more engaged and were having fun when they were learning. The wiggle chairs and floor cushions will help to enhance our learning and will help my students to thrive in our classroom!
