My students need science journals to develop a better understanding of science content. With these daily probes, my students will be challenged to articulate their thinking. Communicating their ideas and understanding to others is critical for my students. These journals are an invaluable resource not only for my students but also their families. The journals can easily be carried back and forth from school to home and shared with family members. Mrs. Livingston inspired me to work harder to strengthen the home school connection. I know these science journals will be a way for families to be involved in a nonthreatening way.
