Hello! I teach in a small,old, urban school. Our school had once been a middle school. The community has not changed since the late forties, and remains primarily African- American. Our school is predominantly African-American (91%), Hispanic(8%), and White (1%). Eighty-five percent of our students require free lunch. We have a PTA, but we receive little parental financial support. Our parents believe in us, so we strive to provide their children with the best education possible.
