My classroom is part of an amazing Early Intervention program provided by our school district. Our students exhibit various levels of delays in communication, cognition, personal-social, adaptive and motor skills. The goal of our program is to bridge the developmental gaps that these students have with hopes of integrating as many of them as possible into a general education kindergarten classroom. Active play and arts and crafts are prime areas where preschoolers learn skills, absorb what is being taught, and retain the most knowledge. Many of our students have sensory processing issues. We have a constant need for supplies to address these sensory needs and enable our students to thrive. Please consider helping our "Superheroes" be all that they can be, and give them a brighter future!
